8Lovely accomodation located slightly out central kyoto.
Good: It was a really nice and comfortable room and I loved the room fit out. The hotel was also very inviting and provided us with the ammenities we needed. Nothing to fault about the hotel/ facilities.
Bad: It was approximately a 15 min walk to the main area in kyoto. The walk into town was nice however I think for a short stay it would have been nicer to stay a bit closer to town. This was the only (albeit minor) downside to this property.

7Hotel is a good option, but it could be better
Good: The location of the hotel was close to metro station and was only a few stops from many of the main sightseeing areas. Staff were friendly and helpful and the free japanese and western breakfast buffet had a good selection to choose from.
Bad: The hotel room could have been cleaned better as I could see dust between the walls and floor and behind the tv. Walls of the room had quite a few scratches and marks from previous guests and there was no view from my room (corner room on 4th floor) as the windows only let in light and I couldnt see outside.
