10Excellent location, near public transportation and walking distance to restaurants and Gion, large and comfortable rooms
Good: Very nice rooms. The beds are comfortable, and the view of the city is great. The location is very ideal for getting around Kyoto via walking and public transportation. The staff was very helpful and spoke great English. For the most part, it was quiet at night.
Bad: Its somewhat close to street level, so you may hear people being loud at night or cars honking. I only was woken up once over the 5 nights I spent here, at 3:00am by a car honking. This couldve happened no matter the location, and the central location more than makes up for being in a potentially noisier location. Overall it was very quiet
