8Comfortable stay in a quiet area of Kyoto.
Good: Nice room, lovely breakfast, quiet location.
Bad: Lack of hotel amenities, such as bar/restaurant. No elevator, so difficult with heavy bags - but staff all very helpful getting up the stairs! Location is a bit out of the way, but public transport is easily reached.

Good: Very clean, comfortable and good sizes of room. Staff were very helpful and kind.
Bad: Little difficult to get there by taxi. Kyoto has complicated one way roads. Every time I need to go out, staff printed the out map to take, so that it will not difficult to get back by taxi.
