2Disappointed - could have stayed in a really good chain property instead.
Good: Location was excellent. Rooms were clean. Restaurant recommendations were all very good.
Bad: We had a suite. Air conditioning did not work. Lift (needed by us) under repair all 3 days - tough for older people with bad knees. Locker non functional - had to carry dox everywhere. Paper cups in a suite at these prices - wine tastes waxy! Very crowded and small breakfast space with TINY tables - however breakfast was ample and adequate quality.

Good: The breakfast included was to our tastes - eggs, bacon, bread rolls, pastries, sweet treats and cereal (everything you may need) which you could have on the balcony which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and clean, ac worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and has a rain shower, towels are included. Location is incredible, you are right in the centre of the tourist sites and the metro and taxi stand are right up the road. The restaurants on the street itself are not great but if you venture a couple of streets away, you can find some really nice food. I need to make a note of the service because the staff went above and beyond for us - it's the little things. The woman who served us coffee in the morning for breakfast (I didn't catch her name) made an effort to remember our order and noticed when we were missing at breakfast and whoever was at reception was always incredibly helpful e.g. our flight was early and so we missed breakfast. He booked us a taxi and made up breakfast bags for us to take to the airport.
Bad: Nothing, I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Rome. I would also like to note that I am a woman of colour who was staying with her younger sister and they made us feel incredibly safe, welcome and comfortable.
