3Inspect your room before you take the key. Do not prepay. Ask for a kettle.
Good: location on the Ramblas promenade. Window door opens.Public areas very clean. Newer fast elevator.
Bad: no kettle in the room, I noticed one in another room as we left and was told we had to ask for one. One bedside lamp missing as was smoke detector. Need more lights on the room. Room 302 was very musty if Air Conditioning was not running. That room is in need of maintenance and should be taken of the market. Other rooms looked better.

7You will most likely have an exceptional experience provided you stay on floor 2 or above. The restaurant is fantastic.
Good: The restaurant there was fantastic in every way. One of the best dinning experiences in our six week trip through Europe.
Bad: The dark location of our room. It was creepy walking through a dark lounge with worn out carpet and musty smell on floor one. We accidentally went to another floor and it was bright and well lite and looked clean. If you book request that you do not stay on floor one.
