4Staying here third time but this time very dissapointed
Good: Great location
Bad: It is our third time staying in this property but unfortunately this time it was quite disappointing:( we booked the 2 single beds option for our stay and when arrived at the hotel we were given one big bed instead of two. It was 12am at night after a 14 hour flight and instead of finally getting into bed we had to deal with these issues. We noticed that the beds could just be separated but when mentioned that to the stuff we were told that cleaning personnel will only be available in the morning so right now there is no-one available to separate the beds. But is this really our problem, when we have booked a 2 bed option specifically? Due to religious reasons I could not share a bed with my brother. Dealing with this issue for 1 hour (already 1am) the reception person finally managed to just separate the beds himself. But now the issue was that he could not provide a proper second duvet. He brought us just the duvet and said he didn't have a duvet cover for it and acted like it was not really and issue for us to just use a duvet without the cover.. in a 5 star hotel really is this what customers have to deal with at 1am at night? It gets worse by the fact that when I looked at the duvet he brought it had a blood stain on it... he finally managed to find the duvet cover at 2 am after my endless tries for asking to solve the issue. Honestly, we were so tired and disappointed having to deal with this at a 5 start hotel late at night especially as loyal customers who are staying here 3rd time in the last 6 months. I believe in a hotel with good customer service we should have been offered other solutions to the problem which did not involve all this hassle or at the least some form of compensation e.g. a free breakfast or room upgrade or some sort of gift from the hotel to cover up the problem. But the hotel acted like it was completely normal to treat their customers like this with no decent apology.
