Good: Finding decent accommodation in Paris at an affordable price is quite difficult. Hotel Trianon Gare de Lyon met my expectations. The high rating on this website convinced me to make a reservation, which was significantly better than competing properties. The hotel building is perfectly located - on the main street, but I couldn't complain about too much noise. Nearby, there is one of the largest train stations in Paris, a metro station (quick access to the biggest attractions), a bus station, and many atmospheric cafes and restaurants. The room I was given was quite spacious, decorated in a pleasant dark blue and gold colour. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient.
Bad: I would love to see a bottle (or two) of mineral water as an addition to the coffee and tea bar.

Good: The rooms are very small. There is a lot of this in the rooms. My CPAP filter was the dirtiest I've ever seen it after staying there. Staff was lovely. Not a great stay for several days. Laundry close & great restaurants abound.
Bad: Lots of dust & dirt from curtains & in rooms.
