3overall, you pay for the...
Good: very convenient location close to Hyde park and paddington station, staff that was very friendly, decent breakfast
Bad: - couldn't accommodate an early check in which is understandable, but did offer to store luggage. luggage storage just entails leaving your bags in the middle of the lobby, the door to which is open at all times for anyone to walk in. usually an single attendant is present, but no real way to verify that you are only removing your own luggage
- upon check in (2 hours after designated time), power was out in my room which took about an hour of carting luggage up and down stairs to resolve
- upon entering room, rubbish bins had not been cleaned out from the last guests
- rooms very small and hot in the summer, bathrooms about the size of an airplane bathroom
- left an item in my room after checkout. messaged front desk within a few hours about it and have not received response
