3Dishonest staff.
Good: The mattress was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower was decent.
Bad: I left a cash deposit when I checked in. I forgot about this and when I checked out I gave the key to the receptionist and asked if there was anything else that I had to do. He said 'that's everything from my side' and so I left, only to find the deposit paper in my bag 2 days later. I contacted the Hostel and sent a picture but they denied that I returned the key! They even told me at what time they recorded my check-out and said they billed my key as lost 5 minutes later!! How could they record me as checked-out if I did not return a key! I am no thief and did not lose the key - check your CCTV! I even asked if there was anything else when returning the key. The same receptionist answered my initial messages online and then stopped answering. Very dishonest and poor experience. It made my stay unneccessarily more expensive. In addition the bed wasn't ready at check-in time. Told to go around Barcelona and come back later.
