Good: Great staff. Enjoyed view from room. There is some noise since it is over the railroad - but that also means the location is wonderful to get anywhere in the Netherlands. Very safe and clean with all the amenities including a good breakfast.

Good: Super convenient to Central Train Station and all Amsterdam city transportation. Very clean. Staff friendly. Many places to eat along the nearby streets and tram routes. The station also has a very reasonable take away mini mart.
Bad: Beds are narrow, but this is common for lower priced hotels in Europe. There isn't much storage space, but not important if you do not need to unpack. If you need more upsale there is an Ibis Styles nearby across from the station.

Good: Location, location, location. Could not be better located as it is right next to Centraal Station (and the back building is over some of the tracks, but it was not too loud). Under 15 minute walk to most places you want to go in Central Amsterdam.
Bad: Lots of construction around the hotel. One of the beds in my room (I had 2 twins) had stained sheets on the bed.
